More information

Leszek Mozdzer is something of a hero in his native Poland, returning to a London with the group from the recent ACT CD, Polska. Accompanied by a "dream team" of virtuoso Swedish bassist Lars Danielsson and Israeli percussionist Zohar Fresco, this is a piano trio of rare distinction that embodies the contemporary spirit of European jazz, combining classical sensibility with a command of sonic texture and an effervescent spontaneity - 'astoundingly accomplished' (Daily Telegraph).

The opening set features another Israeli/Polish collaboration, with the subtly dynamic drummer Asaf Sirkis joining forces with vocalist Sylwia Bialas in a brand new quartet.
