What people are saying about BBC Radio 2 Live In Hyde Park

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Festival Went with friends for the second year running. We had an amazing time. Getting into the venue was much quicker this year. The music, food, weather and atmosphere was excellent. My husband had his 15 minutes of fame as he was a contestant on Pop Master with Ken Bruce, so that's one off his bucket list. All in all a great time was had by all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best open air event I have been to. This was the first time I had been to Live in Hyde park. I had a fab time. Great variety of acts, easy access to the site and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend and can't wait until next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First live bands for daughter..:) Hyde park festival in a day was a brilliant day... Made so special as we all wanted to see Bryan Adams and we weren't disappointed. He did a brilliant set . All the bands were good. We were disappointed will youngs set was shortened in make way for tony Blackburn ...! As we travelled a long way with a 12 year old and the headline for us was Bryan Adams, we left straight after his set to miss the crowds leaving. That is our only other compliant.... There was too many people.... Quite scarey to imagine what would happen in an emergency of any kind. Other than that.... Great location, easy to get to. Good toilet fascillities. Great music and lovely weather. Had a brill day .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had the most amazing experience at Hyde Park Loved the day from start to finish, the atmosphere, the crowd(55 thousand) the artists were amazing! The highlight for me was standing at the barrier gazing at and listening to my idol 'Rod Stewart'

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sixties baby get to enjoy her pin ups! Walking in to Hyde Park with huge amounts of other people was exciting. As we claimed our little patch for our picnic and queued for our wine, we looked around to see a park crammed with every age group from little ones to people in their 70's all enjoying the atmosphere. The acts were all excellent. I especially wanted to see Bryan Adams and Rod Stewart. I wasn't disappointed. They delivered! Will I try for tickets in 2016? Absolutely! What a day, what a reason to travel to London. Thanks BBC Radio 2

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great summer event Second time in a row my partner and I have been to Radio 2's Hyde Park party and although nothing could surpass the 1st time seeing ELO as well as Billy Ocean, Blondie and others, I have to say that this year's event was a close second! Bryan Adams would have brought the house down (if indeed we had been inside), The Corrs were amazing and Rod Stewart was quite literally AM-AZ-ING. Even the weather was good for us and the crowd, in general, were well behaved. There are only two things that I would change.. stop selling alcohol at this event (or at least limit it to having fences off areas at the back and no drinks in the general crowd area) it is a family event after all and some people do strange things wen they've had a few to drink. Secondly, ban people from having shoulder rides.....don't they realise that they are blocking the view of a good 50 people ?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best family day out of 2015 I took my three children aged 10,11 and 13 to this event and we all had the best day out this year. The bands admittedly were more my era than theirs but because I play them so much at home they knew most of the older hits of the Corrs, Rod Stewart and Bryan Adams. We were up on our feet for most of the event singing and boogying along with the majority of the rest of the crowd. There was an amazing atmosphere and it was safe enough to let the children wander round the wonderful array of food stalls and visit the excellent portaloos themselves. And what portaloos they were - immaculate even later on. My highlights of the day? Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart, the Corrs Giorgio Morodor, and the fabulous pocket rocket from Barnsley Kate Rusby and her cuppa tea xx We will be back next year! Why wouldn't we? Great fun for all ages, great friendly helpful staff and top notch entertainment.
