What people are saying about Lee Scratch Perry
Rated 5 out of 5 by HerrKutz from Upsetting the Duke, Whitstable town Here was an opportunity not to be missed - 200 tickets available selling out instantly ... Lee Scratch Perry's fascinating journey from deepest rural Jamaica through the vibrant bustle of 1950's Kingston, the birth of ska and the golden age of 1970's reggae and way, way beyond is the stuff of legend. So, when he raises his glass and sings to us all 'drink champagne and feel no pain' what better excuse than to celebrate with wild abandon a truly unique moment in this one horse town ... whilst his tight Caribbean band of Upsetting sessioners nailed the vibes for sale ... marvellous !!
